At Inspira Kids we believe the early years are critical for establishing self-esteem, resilience and healthy growth. We use the Reggio Emilia approach which is innovative and inspiring to value the child as strong, capable and resilient; rich with wonder and knowledge. Every child brings deep curiosity and potential and this innate curiosity drives their interest to understand their world and their place within it.

Physical development

Physical exercise is vital for a child’s development and lays the foundation for a healthy and active life. At Inspira Kids educators foster the development of effective physical exercise and encourage families to engage in regular physical exercise.

Inspira Kids has 5 sets of cards to provide children with opportunities to enhance their gross motor skills, control, co-ordination and strength which link to the early years learning framework:

  • Yoga
  • Balls
  • Bean Bags
  • Hoops
  • Throw, run & jump

We believe children should be provided with opportunities to grow a strong sense of wellbeing as it is fundamentally connected to children’s sense of belonging, being and becoming. When children feel well, happy, secure and socially successful they are able to fully participate in, and learn from, the daily routines, play, interactions and experiences in their early childhood setting.

Benefits of Inspira Kids wellbeing program:

  • Participate in physical and social environments
  • Form healthy and secure relationships
  • Experience, regulate, understand and express emotions
  • Interact appropriately with others
  • Develop a secure sense of self
