Life at Inspira Kids

Experience a Day in the Life of Your Child at Inspira Kids

At Inspira Kids, we understand that every day is an opportunity for your child to learn, grow, and thrive. Our goal is to provide a nurturing and stimulating environment that promotes early childhood development and supports the unique needs of each child. We are the first early learning centre chain in Australia to offer Habits of Mind to our children alongside the emergent curriculum based on the Victorian Early Years Learning Framework.

Here's what a typical day looks like in our childcare centre:

Morning:

Our day begins with a warm welcome as your child arrives at our centre. After greeting each other, children can choose to have their breakfast.

Mid-Morning:

We prioritize the safety and well-being of all children in our care, which is why we require sunscreen and hats depending on the months and UV level.

We encourage children to wear hats and apply sunscreen during the months of October to March when UV levels are typically higher. We offer a wide range of activities that cater to each child’s interests, whether they prefer indoor or outdoor play. Our educators support children and families in all areas. This includes toilet training, and we strive to work with parents to support their child’s progress in this important skill.

Lunchtime:

At lunchtime, we provide a nutritious and balanced meal that meets the dietary needs and preferences of each child. Our menus are carefully planned by our certified cook.

Afternoon:

In the afternoon, we offer recreational activities that are tailored to meet the needs and interests of each child. Our programs follow the Reggio Emilia approach, which prioritizes child-led, play-based learning, and encourages exploration and discovery. We provide a range of educational and recreational activities such as music and movement, art, science, and nature exploration that are designed to inspire creativity and curiosity. Our educators work closely with each child to provide a fun and engaging experience at our centre.

Evening:

As the day comes to a close, we provide a snack and transition to our end-of-day routine.

* Please note that while this routine provides a general overview of our daily schedule, it may be subject to change based on the needs of individual children, as well as the planning and preparation of our educators.

Communication with Families

At Inspira Kids, we believe that communication is key to supporting children’s development. That’s why we use the communication app Storypark to share updates, photos, and learning stories with families.

With Storypark, you can easily stay up-to-date with your child’s experiences at our centre and provide feedback or ask questions. But it’s not just about keeping you informed – Storypark also has many benefits for your child and family:

If you need help getting started with Storypark or have any questions about using the app, our educators are here to help. Just let us know and we’ll be happy to provide guidance and support.

We believe that by working together and using Storypark, we can create the best possible outcomes for your child. We’re excited to enhance our communication and build stronger partnerships with families, and we look forward to sharing your child’s learning journey with you.
